Pastor's Page A Note From the Pastor... Surfing Spiritual Waves Surfing and catching waves are well-known and familiar terms to those of us here at SonLife Community Church. Living near the ocean and the bay affords us wonderful opportunities to enjoy the seaside. If you were to take a class on surfing, you might be taught everything you need to know about the subject...how to choose the right equipment and use it properly; how to recognize a "surfable wave", how to "catch a wave" and ride it as long as possible...and most importantly, how to get off a wave without "wiping out". You will never find a course, however, that teaches "How to Build A Wave"...that, my friend, is only accomplished by our great God. He is truly the One in control of the calm and the storms. We at SonLife are excited about you "surfin with us"...but more importantly, we would love to see you "catch the wave God has given". As you "surf along", our prayer is that we may be of help to you on your spiritual journey. The ministry of acceptance that God has called us to is our challenge and our privilege and we'd love to share that with you! As you "surf this site", may you discover that "the Lord your God churns up the sea so that it's waves roar" (Isaiah 51:15)...may you pursue "catching your wave" of His love here at SonLife.
